## Focusrite Scarlett

### Setup in PavuControl

This is instructions when setting up the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen. You will need to have Linux kernel 6.8 or greater.

If you are running NixOS, you might want to import the Focusrite Nix module as well. Said mod

####  Configuration tab 

In PavuControl, make sure the audio interface is set to the "Pro Audio" interface
- This is because we want the audio interface to not be taking both the output and the input smooshed together

#### Output Devices tab

Make sure that the applications have the correct device selected
- They will not output audio to your speakers/headphones

#### Input Devices tab

Same thing the Output Devices tab, make sure that the applications have the correct device selected
