+## Focusrite Scarlett
+
+### Setup in PavuControl
+
+This is instructions when setting up the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen. You will need to have Linux kernel 6.8 or greater.
+
+If you are running NixOS, you might want to import the Focusrite Nix module as well. Said module has some extra packages/software that you could be able to use!
+
+####  Configuration tab 
+
+In PavuControl, make sure the audio interface is set to the "Pro Audio" interface
+- This is because we want the audio interface to not be taking both the output and the input smooshed together
+
+#### Output Devices tab
+
+Make sure that the applications have the correct device selected
+- They will not output audio to your speakers/headphones

+
+Same thing the Output Devices tab, make sure that the applications have the correct device selected
